YMCA Field House Rental Registration

Welcome to the YMCA of Marquette County Field House! We are excited to provide local teams with an indoor space to practice, develop their skills, and prepare for their seasons. To help us accommodate as many teams as possible, please read through the following information, pricing, and rules before registering.

General Information

Field House rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our turf is divided into two sections by a center curtain, allowing multiple teams to practice at the same time.

• Weekdays: The south half of the turf is available for team rentals.
• Weekends: Both the north and south halves of the turf are available for team rentals, as well as the full turf when available.

Please be considerate of other local teams looking for practice space. Only reserve the dates and times your team genuinely intends to use. Reserving time that your team does not plan to use prevents other teams from having that opportunity.

Once a reservation is confirmed, your team is responsible for that time slot and the associated payment. The YMCA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule reservations due to facility closures, scheduling conflicts with YMCA programs, weather-related circumstances, or other unforeseen events. The YMCA also reserves the right to revoke rental privileges for coaches or teams that fail to follow facility policies.

How to Register

1. Browse the available dates and times listed below.
2. Select the time slot or slots you would like to reserve.
3. To register for multiple dates at once, check the boxes next to your desired time slots and select “Register Selected.”
4. Follow the registration prompts and provide the requested information about your team, coach, and intended use of the facility.
5. Complete the registration and payment process to secure your reservations.

Please double-check your selected dates and times before completing your registration. All reservations are subject to availability, and the YMCA’s refund policy applies to all bookings.

Rental Rates

Please make sure you select the correct rental option for your team’s needs. Full-turf rentals are available on weekends only and are subject to availability.

Payment and Refund Policy

All payments are due at the time of booking. Once a reservation is confirmed, your team is committed to that time slot.

The YMCA does not issue refunds for cancellations, scheduling changes, unused rental time, or other circumstances initiated by the renting team. Refunds or rescheduling will only be considered if the YMCA closes the facility or an unforeseen conflict with another YMCA program prevents your team from using its reserved time.

If the YMCA needs to cancel or reschedule your reservation, we will communicate with the affected coach regarding the next steps.

Please make sure your team is able to attend before completing your booking. We encourage coaches to plan ahead and reserve only the time they expect to use.

School Closures: In the event of a Marquette Area Public Schools (MAPS) cancellation or closure, your Field House rental will still take place as scheduled unless otherwise communicated by the YMCA. Coaches are responsible for keeping track of their reservations and should not assume a rental is canceled due to a school closure.

Rules and Regulations

Each head coach is responsible for their team, including players, assistant coaches, and anyone else participating in their rental. Coaches are expected to communicate all rules to their teams and ensure they are followed throughout every rental.

Coach Agreement Required

Before a team’s first rental of the season, the head coach must review and sign the YMCA Field House Coach Agreement. A copy will be emailed to the address provided during registration. Please review the agreement carefully and return the signed copy before your team’s first scheduled rental. Physical copies will also be available at the Field House for coaches who are unable to print the agreement themselves.

Failure to follow the Coach Agreement or any YMCA Field House policy may result in the immediate end of a rental session and/or the loss of current or future rental privileges.

Turf Layout and Dimensions

The Field House turf is divided into two sections, with optional batting cage use available as outlined below.

• Full Turf: 140 ft. x 100 ft., with three batting cages available.
• North Half: 140 ft. x 50 ft., with one batting cage available.
• South Half: 140 ft. x 50 ft., with two batting cages available.

Please keep the turf layout in mind when selecting your rental. Batting cage use is optional, subject to availability and applicable facility rules.
