Job Title: Teaching Assistant Infant/Toddler

POSITION SUMMARY:

  Assist with day-to-day classroom operations and provide a safe and developmentally appropriate early childhood program in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures in harmony with the mission statement and policies of the YMCA of Marquette County

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assists in routine caregiving needs (feeding, dressing, diapering/toileting)

  11. Handles and resolves family concerns and informs Child Development Director of unusual situation s or unresolved issues

The maintenance staff is responsible for keeping the YMCA building, equipment, and grounds in a safe, clean, and functional manner. The health and safety of our members is paramount. Reports to:  West End Director and Coordinator

                                                                                                                               

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Director, the tot watch attendant will responsible for providing child-care services while parents are using the facilities or participating in programs.  They will provide for the care of Tot-Watch participants, including the physical and emotional well-being of each child as well as their personal safety.  The Tot-Watch attendant will ensure a quality experience for participants in a safe, clean and loving environment.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide childcare while ensuring a quality play experience in a safe, clean and loving environment.
  2. Interact with children in a joyful, sensitive, and positive manner.

Under the supervision of the West End Coordinator and the Membership Director, West End Member Well-being staff (is this member or wellness) will assist with day to day operations and responsibilities of the front desk along with providing fitness orientations and programming, and assist and supervise members in the wellness center. They will help build community in our organization while emphasizing safety, fun, and effectiveness. Through training, staff will gain a general knowledge of all programs, equipment, membership, special events, and general facility information needed to answer questions, concerns, and be able to promote all the above to members and guests.
