We believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life. Because of the Y, more young people in neighborhoods around the nation are taking a greater interest in learning and making smarter life choices. At the Y, children and teens learn values and positive behaviors, and can explore their unique talents and interests, helping them realize their potential. That makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

At the YMCA of Marquette County we have hundreds of programs to help our youngest members learn, grow and thrive.

CHILD CARE:
Infant and toddler care for children ages 6 weeks to 2-1/2 years
Preschool educational programming for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years

YOUTH & FAMILY PROGRAMMING:
Mommies Day Out - Your children, ages 2 to 5, will enjoy two hours of planned activities, one afternoon each month while Mom takes a break and gets refreshed. 
Parent and Child Playgroup- Make new friends while your children play! This class has a gentle rhythm of storytelling, crafts, songs and free play. Snacks for kids and coffee for parents.

 

SPORTS: We nurture kids’ sense of self-confidence and introduce them to the concept of teamwork in a supportive noncompetitive environment.
Little Kickers Soccer - Class will introduce soccer skills to youth age 4 to 6.
Mix it Up Sports- A different sport will be explored each week, for youth age 4 to 6.Beginning Gymnastics- Class will prepare children ages 4 to 6 for YMCA progressive gymnastics program.
Tiny Dancers- Class teaches dance movements that will get your little one age 3 to 5 up and moving.  
Little Hoopsters- Kids ages 3 to 5 will learn the basics of the game through fun skill building drills and games.

 

AQUATICS:
Preschool Swim Lessons - Progressive swim lessons for youth age 3 to 5.Semi-Private Swim Lessons- Instructional lessons for two participants for age 3 and up. Lessons consist of seven 30 minute sessions.
Private Swim Lessons - Private instructional lessons for age 3 and up. Consists of seven 30 minute sessions.
