Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We are a place where families can build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance, and become more engaged with their communities and each other.

Annual Run/Walk - Each April, the YMCA Run/Walk is held. Families and athletes of all ages from across the UP and northern Wisconsin participate in this fun event to raise money for the Strong Kids Campaign.

Amazing Race -  (starts Ocotber 22 - December 16)- Join us for another year of the Amazing Race. We are headed to Anchorage Alaska and we want you to come along. Sign up includes a t-shirt in week 3 an a chance to win prizes each week. Revised roadblocks will help motivate you to make and sustain healthy lifestyle changes.

Creative Wonders- Cutting, gluing, painting, pasting and beautiful art are all a part of our hour of creativity. This class is great for building your child's motor skills

Family Fun Nights - Bring the whole family to the Y for fun, healthy, planned activities.

Family Karate - Taught by Master Joyce Tredeau, strengthening of character and self-esteem are emphasized as much as physical techniques such as kicking, blocking, punching motions and self-defense.  

Healthy Family Home- This program is full of helpful information, tips and tools to support parents and families in their efforts to practice the art and science of healthy living. We invite you to join the growing community of parents and children who are working and playing their way toward a healthier tomorrow.

Y Arts (ages 7 to adult)- We strengthen communities by connecting people of all backgrounds and ages around shared interests as they explore new skills and talents.  Art programs taught by artist Elizabeth Howe will include drawing, painting and design.
