Aqua Cardio
Boxing 60 minute (pool)
Punch and kick your way to better health. Moves are similar to those
used in “land” Cardio-Boxing classes.
Aqua Circuit 60 minute (pool)
Water aerobics that combines intervals of aerobic and muscle toning
exercises to give you a total body workout.
Aqua Max Walk/Jog Combo or Aqua Action 60 minute (pool)
Low-impact aerobic conditioning, resistance training and flexibility;
no swimming is required.
NEW!!!! Aqua Stretch & Yoga
45 class (Pool)
Refreshing and relaxing in the pool! This class will combine stretching
and basic yoga poses to restore the body to a healthier state.
Boot Camp 45 or 60 minutes Indoor or Outdoor
Perfect for cross-training for both men and women. A high-intensity
class that combines timed circuits of cardio, sports drills and strength
training using various equipment.
Meet in group exercise room.
Box-N-Glide 60 minute class
Combining Cardio Boxing with Gliding. Gliding uses a unique sliding
disc exercise system that allows for smooth, fluid, graceful movements.
Gliding can be used in a variety of ways to improve body sculpting,
balance, flexibility, core and cardio.
Cardio Boxing 30, 45 or 60 minutes
An exciting non-contact aerobic workout with moves inspired by boxing
and kick boxing.
Cardio Interval 60 minutes
A high intensity workout incorporating intervals of basic choreography
consisting of kick boxing, step, hi-lo and sport specific moves with
short muscle conditioning segments.
Fitness Mix 60 minutes
The class style and instructor varies weekly but always includes aerobics,
toning and stretching. A schedule is available at the front desk or
on line at www.ymcamqt.org.
Hi/Lo Aerobics 60 minutes
This workout involves various exercise routines and or movement combinations
performed continuously on the floor. Hi and Lo impact options are
always provided.
Hip Hop/ Funk Aerobics 45 minutes
Take part in one of the latest fitness crazes. The high energy of
Hip Hop choreography will make you forget you’ve been working
out. The instructor will break down the moves to make it easy to follow.
Muscle Toning 30 or 60 minutes
This class will utilize weights, medicine ball, stability ball, resistance
bands and your own body weight to target all muscle groups. It is
a great supplement to any aerobic workout.
Step 30, 45 or 60 minutes
This involves stepping up and down and around an adjustable bench.
NEW!!! Step Interval
40 minute class (lunchtime class)
This workout incorporates cardio intervals – 1 minute of intense
cardio and 3 minutes of low to moderate cardio. The instructor will
show all levels of intensity to fit your fitness level.
NEW!!!
Strong Bodies 60 minute class
Using a barbell and adjustable weights you will define and tone muscles
resulting in a leaner body. This class is one hour of weightlifting
to music working each muscle group. This group exercise is ideal
for men and women and will accommodate a wide range of fitness
levels.
Functional Pilates 60 minutes
This class will increase strength without bulk, improve flexibility
and balance and increase core stability. To add variety the stability
and medicine ball will be used.
Pilates
30 or 60 minutes
Muscular development of the “powerhouse” (abs, back and
gluteals) is emphasized through classic mat Pilates.
Attention
Spinning Participants
Our classes fill up! To participate in class, you must
get an admission ticket from the front desk. Tickets are
available 30 minutes before class on a first come, first
serve basis. No tickets will be issued after the class
begins. if you are new to spinning, you must arrive 10
minutes early to learn the basics and get set-up properly. |

Spin/Pilates
40 minutes
Indoor cycling for all fitness levels followed by Pilates and stretching.
Spin
and Tone 60 minutes
40 minutes of indoor cycling followed by upper body muscle toning,
abdominal exercises and stretching.
Yoga
60 minutes
A traditional style of Yoga that focuses on breathing and posture
along with a series of poses to restore the body to a more healthful
state.
