A presentation and dinner with the pioneer of Women In Philanthropy– Sondra Shaw-Hardy ABOUT THE PRESENTATION Women control over half of the nation's wealth. Women are graduating in record numbers from universities. Women are establishing businesses at a breakneck rate. Women are greatly influencing their family's philanthropic decisions.   Sondra Shaw-Hardy has been described as "The Pioneer in Women and Philanthropy." In this interactive session, she will share ways to reach out to women as donors. You will leave the session with a renewed sense of power and a keen understanding of how you can make a difference in your community. POWER OF THE PURSE The YMCA’s Women In Philanthropy is in search of individuals or organizations to donate purses for the silent auction at the first annual Power of the Purse luncheon. This fundraising event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19 at the Landmark Inn. (The YMCA’s Women In Philanthropy, a group of women who help direct the future investments in our community.)
