Four years ago I didn’t even know Marquette had a YMCA or really what the YMCA was all about. I applied for the sports coordinator position thinking it would be a good job and an opportunity to stay in Marquette. Little did I know that taking the position would be so much more than a job, but a lifestyle. I love being a part of something bigger than myself. To me the Y is a movement, a movement that gives back. My experiences here at the Y have been overwhelming. I have had the opportunity to learn, grow, meet amazing people and be apart of our community.
